The principle of operation of the device

The operation of the device consists in the accumulation of high-voltage energy on capacitors and the subsequent rapid discharge of this energy through an electric spark or electrodynamic emitter of elastic vibrations in water areas using the methods of APr, SSVR (SUVR), SVR and others.

In addition to supporting the standard mode of operation with a single source, SplitMultiSeis Source–5000 energy storage devices allow you to work in an array to implement technologies: Flip-flop (Flip-flop), multi-level emitters (Multi-levelsource), multi-source (Multi-Source or Simultaneous Source), code pulse sequences.

The use of multi-level emitters allows you to achieve a certain directivity of the source, adjust the spectral composition of the generated signal and modify the pulse shape (source signature). The use of multi-level emitters in conjunction with code pulse sequences makes it possible to use a satellite wave as a source of a useful signal. The use of code sequences also makes it possible to work with the amplitudes of the emitted signals much smaller than the amplitudes of the source signals during standard seismic exploration with a single excitation of the signal at each PV. At the same time, the total energy of the recorded signal is preserved without loss of data quality.
