CREATING A COMPANY
Split LLC was founded in 2011 as a research company. The company's employees actively participated in the projects of the main partners of MSU Marine Research Center LLC, MSU Seismic Data Analysis Center LLC, Deco-Geophysics LLC.

RESIDENTS OF SKOLKOVO
The specifics of Split's activities have determined the need to join the Skolkovo Innovation Center as a resident of the Nuclear Cluster. In 2013, the involvement in the Center's activities increased, which accelerated the introduction and promotion of its own developments.

DEVELOPMENT OF SplitMultiSeis TECHNOLOGY
In 2014, we refined the SplitMultiSeis technology to the stage. It has successfully passed laboratory and field tests and has shown excellent results of the collected data. There is a problem: there was no software for such technology. The SPLIT development team was faced with the task of creating their own software for data collection.

THE BEGINNING OF THE COMMERCIALIZATION OF SplitMultiSeis
The first project using our technology was in the Laptev Sea. During the work, the research technology was improved in a wide frequency range from 50 Hz to 8 kHz, which made it possible to achieve optimal shooting parameters in depth and vertical resolution in one pass of the vessel. The application of the technique of seismic operations with a buried receiving-emitting installation made it possible for the first time to apply methods of dynamic analysis and inversion for seismoacoustic data in hydrometeorological conditions characteristic of the Arctic region. In addition, the exclusion of satellite waves provided by this technique makes it possible to determine the elastic properties of sediments, which is of paramount importance for the reliable identification of gas-saturated, hydrate-bearing and frozen sediments.

Two 1x1 km engineering sites were worked out in the water area of the Gulf of Ob and unique data were obtained, which made it possible to obtain data on the structure of the upper part of the section in conditions of widespread near-surface gas.
