SPES-2500
The capacitive seismic energy storage device is designed for use in conjunction with sparkery Boomer type seismic emitters. Depending on the design of the radiator, the storage device can be used in marine and onshore seismic surveys, including in wells. The sparker type emitter is a highly efficient means for generating a pressure pulse in an aqueous medium, and can be configured to operate at frequencies from 150 Hz to 800 Hz.

The principle of operation of the device

The operation of the device consists in the accumulation of high-voltage energy on capacitors and subsequent rapid discharge into an electric spark or electrodynamic emitter of elastic waves during seismic surveys in water areas.
