GPS raft
The GPS raft is part of the high-precision positioning system for the elements of the SplitMultiSeis 3D receiving array. The GPS raft is towed in the tail section of the seismic braids and is designed for precise positioning and determination of the coordinates of the receiving channels. A differential GPS receiver is used for navigation reference.

Appointment

The GPS raft is part of the high-precision positioning system for the elements of the SplitMultiSeis 3D receiving array. The GPS raft is towed in the tail section of the seismic braids and is designed for precise positioning and determination of the coordinates of the receiving channels. A differential GPS receiver is used for navigation reference.

The principle of operation of the device

The Trimble R9s geodetic satellite equipment is geodetic instruments, the principle of operation of which is to measure the time of signal transmission from the satellite to the receiving antenna and calculate the distance to the satellite.

Structurally, the equipment is represented by a modular system: a satellite geodetic antenna and a separate receiver. The equipment is designed for use in a scalable network of base stations of global navigation satellite systems, as well as for independent use as a separate base or mobile station.
